Key Responsibilities

The chosen candidate will fulfill various roles, including Cashier at Box Office Sales/Catering Sales or Collections, Cinema Assistant, Waiter, Poppers, or any other cinema-related duties as directed by a supervisor.

Versatile Theatre Associate Job Duties

• Stay informed about Ster-Kinekor's product offerings and marketing campaigns to facilitate upselling to customers • Ensure compliance with presentation standards (age restrictions, updated synopsis files, neat and current posters, F&B and product displays, visible disclaimers) • Prepare popcorn, slush, and other items according to quality guidelines, notifying about any deviations • Aid in shift preparation as needed in assigned areas • Oversee the quality and integrity of Ster-Kinekor products to safeguard guest experience • Maintain a presentable appearance at all times • Represent Ster-Kinekor Theatres with respect and professionalism, as your actions reflect the company's reputation • Keep the kitchen, kitchen equipment, and surrounding areas clean and tidy • Maintain storerooms within set standards and ensure fumigation when necessary • Ensure that prepared products are properly sealed, packaged, and stored • Submit all Health & Safety reports as per the required schedules • Adhere to the correct uniform and preparation standards at all times to ensure personal and others' safety

Qualifications

• Matric

Experience and Knowledge of

• 0 – 1 years’ work experience in a similar position • Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite • Experience with VISTA/MYCC is advantageous
