Key Responsibilities

The chosen individual will be tasked to perform a range of duties at the Box Office Sales/Catering Sales or Collections, Cinema Assistant, Waiter, Poppers, or any other cinema function as directed by a supervisor.

Job Duties for Versatile Team Member: • Stay informed about Ster-Kinekor's products and promotional/marketing initiatives to effectively upsell to guests • Maintain presentation standards (display age restrictions, update synopsis files, ensure neat and current posters, F&B and product displays, update and display disclaimers) • Prepare popcorn, slush, and other items according to established quality standards, reporting any deviations • Aid in shift preparation in the necessary areas • Safeguard the quality and integrity of Ster-Kinekor products to guarantee an uncompromised guest experience • Maintain a professional appearance at all times • Exhibit respectful conduct as a Ster-Kinekor Theatres representative, reflecting positively on the company's reputation • Ensure cleanliness in the kitchen, all kitchen equipment, and surrounding areas, including counter spaces • Verify that storerooms meet standards and that fumigation occurs as needed • Guarantee that prepared products are properly sealed, packaged, and stored • Submit all Health & Safety reports as per the required schedules • Adhere to correct uniform and preparation standards to ensure safety for yourself and others
