Key Responsibilities

The hired individual will perform various roles including Cashier at the Box Office, Catering Sales, Cinema Assistant, Waiter, Poppers, or any other cinema duties as assigned by a supervisor.

Versatile Staff Member Job Duties

• Keep abreast of Ster-Kinekor’s products and promotional activities to enhance guest satisfaction through informed upselling • Ensure that presentation standards are maintained (age restrictions displayed, synopsis files updated, posters clean and current, F&B displays, disclaimers visible) • Prepare popcorn, slush, and other items according to established quality standards and report any deviations • Assist in shift preparation where necessary • Oversee the quality and integrity of Ster-Kinekor’s offerings to maintain a top-notch guest experience • Maintain a professional appearance at all times • Conduct yourself as a reputable SKT representative, reflecting positively on the company's reputation • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, all kitchen equipment, and surrounding areas, including counter spaces • Ensure storerooms meet standards and conduct fumigation as required • Ensure prepared products are sealed, packaged, and stored properly • Submit all H&S reports as per the required schedules • Adhere to correct uniform and preparation standards to ensure personal and others’ safety

Qualifications

• Matric Experience and Knowledge of: • 0 – 1 years’ experience in a similar role • Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite • Familiarity with VISTA/MYCC is advantageous
