You will be responsible for crafting precise and competitive tender submissions, attending site briefings, evaluating client specifications, analyzing engineering drawings, sourcing supplier quotes, assembling technical and commercial proposals, liaising with internal stakeholders, executing cost estimates, ensuring adherence to tender requirements, managing submission timelines, and aiding the successful transition of awarded projects to execution teams.
Job Experience and Skills Required
• 3-5 years' experience in Proposal Engineering, Tendering, Estimating, or Bid Management within mining, steel fabrication, construction, structural steel, or civil engineering sectors. • Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or a recognized Artisan Trade. • Demonstrated expertise in compiling technical and commercial tenders from initial inquiry through to final submission. • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and technical documentation. • Strong skills in costing, estimating, commercial awareness, planning, and deadline management, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
