Job Description

A Store Manager will direct a team of enthusiastic employees in driving store sales and turnover, upholding stock loss benchmarks, and overseeing store operations.

Responsibilities

• Promote sales and manage stock while controlling expenses to meet business objectives.  • Achieve or surpass the store’s targets, ensuring optimal use of store resources for productivity.  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of stock management and adherence to policies and procedures.  • Act as the guardian of all company policies to maintain standards.  • Take responsibility for managing and training all staff members.  • Uphold the company culture through respectful and professional treatment of employees.  • Deliver outstanding customer service in every interaction.  • Ensure store cleanliness and hygiene comply with legal and company standards. 

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12, with Mathematics being advantageous  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Retail Store Management or Assistant Store Manager roles, ideally in a similar retail setting.  • Strong business English proficiency, both verbally and in writing
