Purpose:                               The purpose of this job is to ensure day to day running of the store in such a manner that profits are maximised and costs are minimised.  This will include maintaining the store’s facilities in order to ensure customers have easy access to products and services by ensuring promotions are accurate, merchandising is executed according to company standards, staff is fully versed on the target for the day and excellent customer service standards are met.  In addition, this will include dealing with human resources management of staff, marketing of products, and logistics of the store, finance, customer service and promoting the business therefore creating sustainable growth in margins and profits. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Managing and motivating a team of subordinatesMaking sure that the store meets sales targetsLooking for ways to increase sales and ensure efficiency, including follow up of work resultsDoing quotations for big clientsManaging stock levels and making decisions about stock management and controlAnalysing sales figures and forecasting future salesManaging the supply and demand of productsAnalysing and interpreting trends to facilitate planningDealing with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting performance appraisals and reviews, taking disciplinary actionEnsuring standards for health and safety and customer service are metResolving health and safety, legal and security issues relating to the storeEnsure floor walk merchandising standards are met and maintained. Ensure achievement and maintenance of all the CEO listed KPI’s.
