Key Responsibilities

• Serve in various capacities including Cashier at Box Office Sales/Catering Sales, Cinema Assistant, Waiter, Poppers, or any other required cinema role as directed by a supervisor. • Stay informed about Ster-Kinekor’s product offerings and promotional activities to effectively upsell to our guests. • Ensure that presentation standards are maintained (age restrictions are displayed, synopsis files are updated, posters are clean and current, F&B and product displays are updated, disclaimers are visible). • Prepare Popcorn, Slushes, and other items according to quality standards, notifying management of any deviations from these standards. • Assist in shift preparation as needed in your assigned area. • Oversee the quality and integrity of Ster-Kinekor products to ensure guest satisfaction is not compromised. • Maintain a professional appearance at all times. • Represent Ster-Kinekor Theatres in a respectable manner, reflecting positively on the company’s reputation. • Ensure the kitchen, all kitchen equipment, and surrounding areas are clean and tidy. • Verify that storerooms meet set standards and that fumigation occurs as needed. • Ensure prepared products are sealed, packaged, and stored properly. • Submit all Health and Safety (H&S) reports according to the required schedules. • Adhere to the correct uniform and preparation standards to ensure personal and others' safety.

Qualifications

• Matric Certificate Experience and Knowledge: • 0 – 1 years’ work experience in a similar environment • Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite • Experience with VISTA/MYCC is advantageous
