We are in search of a skilled and meticulous Technician to manage and oversee high-security systems across our various infrastructure projects. This role entails complete installation, configuration, and maintenance of Alarm Systems, CCTV surveillance, Access Control, and Network connectivity at assigned sites.

Key Responsibilities - Install, configure, commission, and maintain electronic security systems including CCTV (both analogue and IP), Access Control systems, Alarm and intrusion detection systems, Intercoms, and perimeter protection solutions. - Network knowledge should include strong expertise in Fibre Infrastructure and Electric Fence Systems. - Perform routine maintenance and preventive service on installed systems. - Efficiently diagnose and professionally resolve technical issues. - Conduct site assessments and provide technical recommendations. - Ensure all work adheres to industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures. - Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain robust client relationships. - Complete job cards, service reports, and administrative tasks accurately and on time.

Minimum Requirements - Matric / Grade 12 - 5-10 years of proven experience in the Electronic Security Systems Industry - Valid code 8 Drivers License - PSIRA registration - Grades C

Required Skills and Experience - Installation and programming of Alarm Systems with comprehensive knowledge of installation and maintenance. - Installation and configuration of CCTV systems including analog and IP-based surveillance systems, including remote viewing setup. - Strong understanding and knowledge of router installation, static IP configuration, and port forwarding for remote system access. - Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, floor plans, and security systematics. - Knowledge of UPS systems and structured cabling would be advantageous. - Strong diagnosis and troubleshooting skills. - Adherence to confidentiality and security protocols. - Ability to work independently or as part of a team under project timelines. - Excellent communication and customer service skills.
